Training & Capacity Building
We provide hands-on training on a range of agriculture related topics including sustainable Farming, Climate action, value addition, Digital marketing and agribusiness skills to equip participants for success in the agriculture sector.
Entrepreneurship Development
We support budding agripreneurs by offering mentorship, resources, and funding opportunities to launch and scale their businesses.
Agricultural Conferences, Exhibitions & Farmers Field Day
We host events such as the Conference of Africa’s Agricultural productivity (CAAP Conference), Farmers Exchange, Sokoni festival and Malava -Agri Expo, that connect farmers, agripreneurs, and industry experts, thus enabling them to network and share best practices in the agriculture sector.
Our Key Activities:
Farmers Exchange
Farmers Exchange is an annual project that unites farmer group leaders from various counties to converge in a designated host county for capacity building and hands-on training in agriculture, Agri-business, and sustainability. We aim to enhance their agricultural practices, improve productivity, and ultimately achieve sustainable livelihoods. Following successful events in Makueni County (2023) and Migori County (2024), the third edition will take place in Murang’a County in 2025.
Sokoni Festival
Sokoni Festival is an annual Exhibition and Workshop platform for value addition producers, to showcase their fresh, crafted, and delicious innovations in the Agricultural & Forestry sector. The festival aims to connect local innovators with key industry players, opening doors to new markets and fostering collaborations that will drive sector growth.
Agri-Profits: Training for employees who would like to start Agriculture as a side business. We shall connect them with knowledge, accountability partners and Resources to enable them kickstart their farming careers.
Malava Agri-Expo
Malava Agri-Expo is our flagship farmers’ field day, formerly known as the Kakamega Agri-Expo. Now in its 6th edition, this one-day event has been rebranded to highlight its local focus. Hosted in Kakamega County in collaboration with the County Government’s Department of Agriculture, the Expo features a model farm and an exhibition arena. The model farm offers hands-on demonstrations of modern farming techniques, while the exhibition arena showcases cutting-edge agricultural products and services. Together, they create a platform for advancing agricultural innovation.
